Count Josh Lambert among all three finalists from last season (including the 2014 & 2013 winners) named to the initial watch list for the annual Groza Award for the best college kicker.
The other finalists from a year ago, Maryland's Brad Craddock (the 2014 winner) and Florida State's Roberto Aguayo (the 2013 winner) join Lambert as the early season favorites to take home the 2015 trophy. All in all, there are 30 names on the initial watch list, which may grow as the season progresses.
The Groza Award semifinalists will be named on November 5, 2015 and the three finalists will be revealed on November 23, 2015. The award winner will be announced as part of the annual Home Depot College Football Awards Show on December 10, 2015 on ESPN.
Lambert joins fellow Mountaineers Karl Joseph (Bednarik Award for defensive players) and Tyler Orlosky (Rimington Award for centers) on preseason watch lists for 2015 postseason football awards.
