Kadeisha also just brought home the Hyundai Young Player Award from the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup where she represented the Canadian National Team.

West Virginia sophomore Kadeisha Buchanan won her second consecutive Big 12 defensive player of the year award. She also became the first sophomore in school history to be named first-team All-American. She was one of just four defenders named among the 16 semifinalists for the Hermann Award.
