West Virginia's Shaquille Riddick Selected By Arizona Cardinals In The 5th Round Of The NFL Draft

In the 5th round of the 2015 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals selected the pass rush specialist linebacker of the Mountaineers. It was the 22nd pick of the 5th round of the draft.

Shaq Riddick came to Morgantown by way of Gardner Webb as a transfer after being named an All American at that level. Riddick joined the Mountaineers to showcase himself as a pass rusher at the highest level of collegiate football with hopes to join an NFL team. He finished the 2014 with 26 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and 6 sacks. Now that dream for Shaq will continue in the desert of Arizona with the Cardinals where he looks to play an outside linebacker role in their 3-4 scheme.
