Multiple recruiting outlets are reporting that Northeast Community College (Nebraska) guard Buay Tuach will take a visit to the West Virginia campus on April 17.
The 6'6 wing averaged 16.7 points and and 6.2 rebounds last season. He also holds offers from Loyola Maramount, St. Bonaventure, and Middle Tennessee State.
What's most interesting about this is that currently there are no available scholarships on the roster. However, in an interview with Sportsline, Bob Huggins said that there was "maybe one" guy that's going to be transferring.
West Virginia fans have been conditioned to expect some turnover each season, so the "maybe one" comment wasn't surprising. Actually, most people would probably consider it a positive to have only one guy leave (depending on who it is, of course.) Such is the current state of college basketball...
There isn't a ton of video on Tuach, but what's available shows that he's a pretty solid athlete:
If Tuach decides to go elsewhere, the Mountaineers will likely continue to search the junior college ranks to replace the mystery transfer.
