Kevin White's long arduous football journey will continue into the NFL as the Chicago Bears picked the West Virginia senior wide out with the 7th pick of the first round in the 2015 NFL Draft. White will give quarterback Jay Cutler a great deep threat to throw to and should replace Brandon Marshall quite nicely.

Kevin continues the long line of receivers taken in the draft who played under Coaches Dana Holgorsen and Lonnie Galloway. He joins the likes of Justin Blackmon, Michael Crabtree, Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey in the league.
White enjoyed a breakout senior season after a sub-par junior year with the Mountaineers. When he broke out, he really broke out, amassing 109 receptions, 1447 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also made good for drawing 11 pass interference calls through the first seven games of this past season.
For a while, White's speed was questioned. Then came the combine and the 4.35 second 40 yard dash and all questions were laid to rest.
Congratulations Kevin White! The Mountaineer family is proud of you and is looking forward to seeing you tear it up in the NFL!
