An athlete out of Franklin High School in Reistertown, Maryland, Jacquez was originally recruited solely as a defensive back. However, a successfully senior campaign at Quarterback for his high school led Dana Holgorsen to promise Adams a shot in West Virginia's upcoming QB competition. While is long term future is very likely at Cornerback or Safety, it's always interesting to add another arm to a talented (but crowded and unproven) stable of quarterbacks in Morgantown. Adams is a three star rated recruit by all three major services.
Jacquez's twin brother Jordan will join him in Morgantown.
Welcome home, Jacquez Adams!
