Rasul Douglas Is Officially A Mountaineer

Highly touted JUCO cornerback Rasul Douglas officially becomes a Mountaineer.

The 6-3 200 pound Rasul Douglas out of Nassau Community College in New York is officially a West Virginia Mountaineer.

Douglas, a native of East Organge, New Jersey, visited WVU on October 31st. He then committed to WVU on December 17th, 2014 and signed a letter of intent with the Mountaineers on the 19th.

Rasul, a four star cornerback recruit according to 247 Sports, ranks first in JUCO cornerbacks in New York, third amongst JUCO cornerbacks across the US, and, 15th amongst all JUCO players in the US. According to ESPN he is listed as a four start recruit and the 23rd best community college recruit in the country.

Douglas was recruited by Brian Mitchell and Tony Gibson. He had offers from Louisville, Florida State, Illinois, Kansas, Rutgers, Tennessee, Central Florida and Utah State. He also had interest from Florida and Georgia.
