Quarterback David Sills is now a West Virginia Mountaineer. The 6'3, 200 lb. quarterback enrolled for the spring semester and has been on campus since early January.
Sills made national headlines in 2010 when he committed to newly hired Head Coach Lane Kiffin and USC as a seventh grader. He remained committed to the Trojans for four years before reopening his recruitment last June and selecting the Mountaineers.
Sills broke his ankle early in the 2014 season and only played in three games. The most likely outcome for his freshman season is a redshirt, although solid play in practice could certainly push him into competition for the starting spot.
