The Recruiting Flow Chart For The Savvy Coach

The 2 two year probation for WVU is bad, but it isn't that bad. Think about it like this, they hired Oliver Luck anyway. Full Cover Image

It's been a while since we introduced a new flow chart to help explain things. But given the recent 2 year probation issued to WVU, we thought it would be a good idea to refresh everyone on some simple steps to avoid further embarrassment to the university. Since the lion's share of the problems were for impermissible phone calls and texts, we'll concentrate there.

Because technology is changing very quickly and some coaches are slow to change it's important that you simplify things to fit into a coach's busy schedule. Most times you won't have to even answer every question on the flow chart. Maybe you look at the flow chart a few times and you realize that skipping to the last block is really the best answer to every question.

We don't want to suggest that anyone should break rules. But rather, we would just like to suggest that if you have already made this decision that you should go ahead and keep the school's best interests in mind and learn how to cover your tracks.
