West Virginia University Engineering student and ARCA Series driver, Travis Braden, capped off a spectacular year with a solid sixth place finish at the Kansas Speedway in the Full Throttle S'loonshine 98.9 race Oct. 16. Braden fought hard all night long and stayed inside the top-10, competing with the ARCA Series' best drivers. The sixth place finish last Friday topped off a phenomenal showing Braden has had in his first three career starts in the ARCA Series. In Braden's first three starts he has averaged a third place finish, with a win in his first start earlier this summer and a second place finish in September.
Braden showed that he has what it takes to race at a higher level, competing with ARCA Series champion, Grant Enfinger and NASCAR Xfinity Series stars, Ryan Reed and Daniel Suarez.
Although race season is over, Braden, along with other ARCA drivers, have the 2015 Champion Awards Banquet to look forward to. The 2015 Champion Awards Banquet will be held Saturday, Dec. 12 in Indianapolis to award ARCA series drivers for an excellent and exciting racing season.
