The move to The Greenbrier's Sports Performance Center is due to the renovations that will be taking place at Milan Puskar Stadium in the spring, which will include the removal of the crown and replacement of the current turf. The West Virginia football team is no stranger to The Greenbrier, the Mountaineers held a scrimmage at The Greenbrier Sports Performance Center this past spring and had a great turnout in front of their Southern West Virginia fans.
The Greenbrier Sports Performance Center is the home of the New Orleans Saints training camp, and has played host to the New England Patriots and, most recently, the Arizona Cardinals. The Greenbrier is also the site of the New Orleans Pelicans training camp and The Greenbrier Classic on the PGA Tour.
