1. 0-3 - Since joining the Big 12 Oklahoma is one of only two teams to be undefeated against the Mountaineers. Not only have the Sooners held the Mountaineers winless, but the method of each Mountaineer loss has been painful. In 2012 Tavon Austin had one of the greatest offensive performances in college football history, but it was wasted because of WVU's putrid defense. In 2013 the defense actually played lights out, but costly turnovers and quarterback struggles doomed the Mountaineers. Finally, last year Kevin White and Mario Alford put on a show before Samaje Perine took over and ruined a great night game atmosphere in Morgantown.
2. David Boren tried to screw us - Remember the Big 12 invite that was imminent until it wasn't? You can blame Dave Boren (OU President) who took calls from his dear friend Mitch McConnell, who was lobbying for a Louisville invite, and put a hold on the Mountaineer invitation. If Boren had his way, the Mountaineers may be stuck in the American Athletic Conference, and nationally irrelevant.
3. The Sooners produced Brian Bosworth - One of the all time most unlikable players in college football. The Boz was so unlikable that him getting blown up by Bo Jackson is a famous moment in National Football League history. [editor's note: coincidentally, Bosworth is scheduled to be honored at the game on Saturday.]
