WVU's ARCA Driver Travis Braden Is Headed West For A Win

WVU's Travis Braden is back in action this weekend in Kansas.

Travis Braden and the ARCA Racing Series is headed to the Full Throttle S'loonshine 98.9 event at the Kansas Speedway on Friday, Oct. 16 to wrap up the 2015 season. In his last race, the Crosley Brands 150, at the Kentucky Speedway, Braden took home second place after a rain delay pushed the race back a day.

Braden will be on the track one more time this season and is looking for his second win in just three starts in the ARCA Racing Series. No matter what happens Friday night one thing's for sure: the No. 01 WVU car will look great zooming by under the lights of the Kansas Speedway. Just weeks before WVU's football team is set to travel to Kansas to take on the Kansas Jayhawks, Braden has a chance to bring home a big win for the gold and blue and pave the way for what is shaping up to be an exciting few weeks in Kansas for Mountaineer nation.

The ARCA Racing Series finale at Kansas Speedway will also be where a new national champion will be crowned, along with the Hoosier Tire Superspeedway Challenge champion.

The Full Throttle S'loonshine 98.9 event at Kansas Speedway will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1 Friday, Oct. 16 beginning at 7:30 p.m. CDT.
