The Mountaineers are in the Little Apple tonight to visit the Octagon of Doom and take on the Kansas State Wildcats. The Wildcats sit in second place in the Big 12 conference standings (half game back of Kansas) but a rough out of conference record to begin the season has them on the outside of the NCAA bubble looking in. A win against the Mountaineers would go a long way to get themselves an invite to the dance. Press Virginia has another agenda in mind as WVU looks to solidify itself as a legitimate contender for the Big 12 crown. A road victory tonight would help do that.
