The connections to Miramar, Florida pay off once again as the Mountaineers add another Patriot to the stellar 2015 recruiting class. Alex Anderson, the 6 foot, 195 pound running back committed to West Virginia on Monday via Twitter:
@coachseider just told me my commit is excepted i am verbally committed to west virginia univesity #$wu #Gladtobeamountaineer!!!!!!!

Rivals, Scout, and ESPN all have Anderson as a 3 star player.
The latest commit brings the overall total to 11 (6 from the state of Florida) and has this class on pace to be arguably the best in the history of Mountaineer football. 247 Sports currently has the WVU class ranked 10th nationally, while Rivals has the Mountaineers at 12th.
WVU has as much depth as anyone in the Big 12 at the running back position, and Anderson will likely have plenty of time to mature and improve before he's called upon to produce. He had offers from Wisconsin, Tennessee, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, and others.
