The first ever College Football Playoff Ranking has been revealed.

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

While we obviously wish to be ranked higher, with two losses, this is about as good as to be expected realistically. But this is putting the cart way before the horse. With upcoming games against the current ranked #7 TCU Horned Frogs and the #9 Kansas State Wildcats, WVU can certainly make some noise going forward in 2014. Plus, several sets of teams ranked above us are set to play each other, as well.
