We have 19 games to pick this week, starting with Friday at 5 pm ET. Make sure you at least have your tie breakers in by then. Deadline for each game pick is 5 minutes before kickoff.

Also, as a way to change things up a bit this year, we will also be featuring staff predictions for the weekly WVU game (or game of interest on the off-weeks). Here are the staff predictions for the WVU/Kansas game (in Gauntlet ranking order with total score in parentheses):

The trip East and the noon start mess with Baylor's mojo.

I was just about to hit submit on a prediction with Baylor winning a shootout. But screw that. Clint Trickett throws a million touchdowns, Kevin White has a million yards, and the good guys are in the thick of the Big 12 race.

WVU 61 Baylor 58

Baylor leaves Morgantown, snake bitten, like a non-believer at a Pentecostal church. Unfortunately for Baylor, the poison is the cure.

Simply put WVU is due. After playing Alabama and Oklahoma tough during the first stretch of the season WVU has seen and knows exactly what it takes to knock off a top 10 team. This is the game they cash in on that experience. Last year Kevin White had his best game against Baylor, and I suspect we will see a repeat performance, along with a huge game from Trickett who will out duel Bryce Petty. Baylor's offense is too good to be totally stopped, but look for Gibson and company to make enough adjustments down the stretch for WVU to pull out a huge win in Morgantown, and jump into the thick of the Big 12 race.

Similar to the Pokes game last year, weird will reign in Morgantown.

Baylor's quick, high scoring offense exhausts and picks apart the Mountaineers defense, much like last year in Waco. WVU is never in this game. Baylor's reserves come in, in the 4th quarter and Mountaineers put up some points. This is not because WVU is bad, it's because Baylor is that good. The Bears are truly a National Championship contender

Baylor 56, WVU 41

Hope I'm wrong. Baylor will start flat due to the emotional game last week and early start this week, but they have too many weapons and can score too quickly to be held down for long. The Mountaineers only shot is to keep pressure on Petty, and I don't have faith that will happen.

WVUIE97 (73)

West Virginia 56 Baylor 54

Josh Lambert is makes this hero business old hat.

WVUfanMG (62)

WVU 42 Baylor 38

I haven't picked against us all year, and I'm not about to start now. Baylor brings and explosive offense and aggressive defense to Morgantown, but can't overcome the home field advantage of the Mountaineers. The law firm of Trickett, White, Smallwood and Shell has another huge day and help propel WVU to victory. Couches are burned and it's a great day to be a Mountaineer, wherever you may be!

I'm just not convinced that this pass rush has enough to cause Baylor the type of problems you need to cause Baylor to win. It will be a game effort and Kevin White will crack the 1,000 yard mark (on the season, not the game.......at least I don't think for the game) and Clint will get his numbers, but in order to beat Baylor you need to a) make Bryce Petty sweat and b) get a couple turnovers. WVU has shown no ability whatsoever to do either of those things and it will cost them. But hey, at least they'll finally hold the Bears under 60!

WVU 48, Baylor 35

The Baylor Bears come off an emotional win against TCU, in comeback fashion. The Bears must travel into Morgantown, for an early noon start, and may already be looking ahead to their game at Oklahoma. With the momentum of their comeback win, WVU is playing with high confidence, and wants to have a say in the Big 12 race. After last week, I believe. The 'eers get it done.
