In addition to detailing the assistant coaching staff moves today, Mike Casazza's latest blog entry also detailed a few football roster updates.
As already reported, Andrew Buie is re-enrolled and back on campus. There are also four JUCO transfers enrolled for the spring:
- Skyler Howard, a 3 star dual-threat quarterback from Riverside C.C. (California)
- Keishawn Richardson, a 2 star safety from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M J.C.
- Edward Muldrow II, a 3 star linebacker from Copia-Lincoln C.C. (Mississippi)
- Sylvester Towne, a 3 star offensive lineman from Coahoma C.C.(Mississippi)
Two high school early graduates/enrollees include: Davonte James and Ricky Rogers. James is a 3 star linebacker from Springfield High School in Springfield, Ohio and Rogers is a 3 star wide receiver from Gateway High School in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.
Those are the additions. There were also two subtactions.
Wide receiver Ronald Carswell, who was suspended indefinitely mid-season will not be returning to the team. Cassaza also listed cornerback Avery Williams as not returning. No further details were reported.
UPDATE:
Final WVU update: QB Skyler Howard, CB Keishawn Richardson and OL Sylvester Townes are enrolled. LB Edward Muldrow III has until Friday.
