Owens is an intelligent young man who wants to study physical therapy in college. He had offers from 21 Division 1 schools, including Georgia Tech. Naturally big and laterally quick, Owens is exactly what WVU needs to return its defenses to prominence. WVU's up front pressure has always keyed the effectiveness of its linebackers and defensive backs.

You can also see his highlights over at HUDL too.

Tyree moved to Orlando from New Jersey as a 9th grader and is relatively new to football, having never played before high school. That all changed pretty quickly as by his senior year the Orlando Sentinel ranked Owens as the No. 4 prospect on their "Central Florida Top 60" for 2014

When making his announcement that he'd come to WVU, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9s9z7wVPJ8M ), Owens indicated that he was immediately drawn to "the family feel" of West Virginia. You got that right, my man. Welcome to the family!
