After originally committing to South Carolina out of high school, outside linebacker Edward Muldrow ended up at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, where his recruitment lead him to Morgantown to become a Mountaineer. He has enrolled for the Spring semester and thus will be able to get an early start for playing time at outside linebacker, an important cog in the 3-4 scheme where we desperately require depth.
In his last year at Copiah-Lincoln, Muldrow accumulated 56 tackles, 4.5 sacks, an interception, and a forced fumble. He chose West Virginia over big time offers from Oregon, Tennessee, Arizona State, Colorado, Kansas and Iowa State. Muldrow will have two years of eligibility remaining in Morgantown.
