In making his intent to be a West Virginia Mountaineer official, defensive end Jaleel Fields of Aliquippa, PA looks to add depth to a developing defense.

Fields is listed as a 3-star prospect by 247Sports, a 2-star prospect by Rivals and a 3-star by Scout, but no matter how many stars are next to his name he'll be a welcome addition to a defensive line looking to add depth after seeing production fall as a casualty of personnel attrition in the second half of last season.
