Coach Bob Huggins team just got a bit better with the news just released that forward Elijah Macon has enrolled at WVU after months of worry and speculation.
WVU freshman Elijah Macon is enrolled at WVU for the fall semester.

Macon had originally committed to the 2012 class, but was unable to qualify academically out of Huntington Prep and spent a year at the Brewster Academy in an effort to qualify. The 6'9" has been regarded as the most heralded of Huggins' most recent recruiting class.
Macon should play right away and his game seemingly fits perfectly into what Coach Huggins wants his team to get back to after suffering through a disastrous inaugural season in the Big 12.
The always dry Huggins had this to say:
"It's obviously good news.'' - Charleston Gazette
The same article referenced in that quote also made note to mention that JUCO transfer Jonathan Holton has yet to enroll and one university official was under the impression that there were no hold ups on him and thought he was already enrolled. Today is the last day to enroll and participate in the fall 2013 semester portion of the season.
UPDATE: Although he's enrolled, Macon isn't eligible to participate just yet:
WVU announces freshman forward Elijah Macon "is enrolled." No mention of whether Macon "is eligible" because status is still uncertain.

That could go either way. Obviously, optimist likes his chances because he's enrolled. Pessimist wonders why he's not yet cleared to play.
