Coach Holgorsen leads our Mountaineers into Lawrence, Kansas, for the first time to take on Charlie Weis and the Kansas Jayhawks. The Jayhawks are winless in the Big 12 thus far once again, but despite their record, they have played most teams closer than many would have expected. The Mountaineers offense has shown signs of coming around, but the defense is becoming more riddled with injuries seemingly daily. In addition to the defense, it also appears that Clint Trickett has been ruled out as well. With Ford Childress still on the mend, Logan Moore will likely be designated the backup if anything happens to Paul Millard.
