The Shotgun/Throwdown: Monday (4/2/12) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Heidelberger beer in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.

With spring break now over, the football team will re-convene spring drills tomorrow, which will culminate with the Gold/Blue Game on April 21. We have a couple of updates on the running backs and offensive line today to go along with some updates from AD Luck on transitioning into the Big 12. Huggs gives us a tour through the completed basketball practice facility, including many areas that the public doesn't have access to. We have a couple of recruiting notes, including the flip of the first WVU commitment for next year's class to some school to the west, coached by a guy named for a Pope. There are also several updates on a few Mountaineers who have finished their athletic careers in Morgantown. All of this and more...
