WVU vs. DePaul MAPOGs: Kevin Jones And Truck Bryant

Last night the Mountaineers were able to put their struggles behind them and did to an over-matched team exactly what they should have done. They thumped them. En route to a 92-75 victory, the Mountaineers led by 16 at the half and stretched that lead out one more point the rest of the way against the Blue Demons. Truck led the scoring with 28 points to go along with 2 assists, 4 steals and 3 rebounds. Kevin Jones contributed 22 points, 16 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 2 blocks to the WVU cause. Also of note, Hinds chipped in 14 points and Rutledge scored 8 off the bench, to go with 8 rebounds.

For their efforts last night, Truck and KJ share MAPOG honors today. Yes, the dynamic duo put together a great combined effort on the night when they were honored for their contributions to the basketball program. We would have likely given this to them anyway, but they went out and earned it on the court. We were the ones honored to have been able to watch them these past 4 years.
