The Shotgun/Throwdown: National Signing Day (2/1/12) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Camden Ink Beer in honor of today's National Signing Day extravaganza.

Yes, it gets way too much hype, but when you truly consider it...it's the most important day of the year for the football program. No team can win without players and today is the day they decide if they want to be part of the Mountaineer family. If they don't, that's their loss and we wish them well. As expected, we have several recruiting articles in addition to our continuing coverage through the day.

We have a couple of hoops articles with the team taking a short break to regroup during this slide. The women are back in action tonight at USF and Oliver Luck also gave an interview stating his desire to stay at WVU, despite any rumors that he would move on to the Big 12 league office. All of this and more...
