After a two game road stint, the Mountaineers return to the friendly confines of Milan Puskar Stadium for a night tilt against the Big 12 leading and undefeated Kansas State Wildcats. It will be a stark contrast in styles as the Purple Merlin, Bill Snyder likes to have his team meticulously grind it out for long stretches (mainly on the ground) while Coach Holgorsen wants to run as many plays as fast as possible mainly by flinging the ball all over the place. It's also a matchup of two of the frontrunners for the Heisman. That will be another contrast as quarterback Collin Klein is known for his ground exploits (with efficient passes) while Geno Smith's arm usually does the damage.
Geno, the offense and the entire team are looking for a rebound and redemption for last week's debacle in Lubbock. The Wildcats will prove a strong test for our Mountaineers looking to regain some of that lost respect. It's always special when it's a night game in Morgantown and tonight should be no different as two of the league leaders lay it on the line.
