On the heels of the dismantling of the Mountaineers yesterday by Texas Tech, WVU's ranking took the expected fall from the rare air of the Top 5 down to 17th by the AP and 15th by the coaches. Texas Tech enters the poll for the first time in 2012 at 20th & 18th (nobody said the polls made sense). Also from the Big 12, Oklahoma jumped back into the Top 10 on the merits of their dismantling of the Longhorns. Texas dropped from the rankings and TCU re-entered the coaches poll at 21st (not ranked by AP). Next week's opponent, undefeated Kansas St., will come into Morgantown ranked #3 by the coaches and #4 by the AP.
