Orange Bowl Game Thread: (23) West Virginia Mountaineers vs. (15) Clemson Tigers

After a month of build up and beating mostly the same stories to death over and over, the Orange Bowl is finally here. Tonight, Coach Dana Holgorsen leads the Mountaineers against another high flying offensive team in the Clemson Tigers, led by Coach Dabo Swinney. Both teams come into the game boast outstanding quarterbacks and receiving corps. Clemson has the edge in the backfield with WVU's usual starting running back, Dustin Garrison, out with a knee injury and being replaced by Shawne Alston and Andrew Buie (Alston is getting the start). What this game is likely to come down to is the boys up front, turnovers and avoiding those dreaded 3 and outs which will likely put added stress on already stressed defenses.

We actually have a double dip tonight, with the WVU Men's Basketball team also in action on the road against a vastly improved Rutgers team. Huggs and the boys are looking to avoid a 0-2 streak in the Garden State tonight at 7 pm on the Big East Network (MASN, SNY, ROOT Pittsburgh), ESPN Gameplan and ESPN3.

Televised coverage of the Orange Bowl begins at 8pm with the pregame show and kickoff shortly after 8:30 pm on ESPN. So, find your favorite comfortable spot, grab your favorite beverage or 11, or 13, or...and join us for a night of running commentary, random observations, snark, wit, hopes, fears, cheers and jeers as we root on the Mountaineers tonight in the comments section below.

And, as always...
