The Shotgun/Throwdown: Wednesday (1/11/12) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Radeberger Pilsner.

Well, it seems it's all over but the presser. WVU's defensive coordinator Jeff Casteel will be joining RR in the desert and looks to be taking Coach Lockwood and Coach Kirlav with him. We wish them the best and look forward to the new guys Coach Holgorsen will bring into the Mountaineer family. Sorry if that sounded like a press release, but it basically sums up how I feel. We will have more on the new hires when they become more concrete.

In other news, the WVU women won again last night and we also have several looks back at the UConn loss (such is the case when almost a week between games). We also have several final polls and early rankings for the 2012 football season. All of this and lots more...
