The Shotgun/Throwdown: UConn Hangover (1/10/12) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Winter's Bourbon Caskale.

The Mountaineers let one slip away last night. Yes, a blown call near the end facilitated it, but WVU should have never let themselves get into that position. A ten point lead evaporated. You can't do that in the Big East if you want to win, especially on the road. Complete coverage is inside.

We also have some more on the football team, who just welcomed 5 new members yesterday. Several awards were garnered and the final rankings were released, including a curious (yet, not unexpected, based on history) development in the coach's poll. All of this and more...
