Countdown To Mountaineer Kickoff 2011: GameCon 6

The countdown continues to tick down and today we shine the spotlight on former WVU linebacker Grant Wiley.

Wiley was an anchor for the Mountaineer defense from 2000 - 2003. An absolute ball -hawk, whenever there was a play to be made, Wiley was usually involved. Over his four year career, he totaled 8 interceptions (including 2 for touchdowns his freshman year), 492 tackles (298 solo), 9 sacks, 9 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries.

Also (strongly) considered for today was former wide receiver David Saunders (1995-96, 98), who held the career receptions record until Jock Sanders. Saunders still holds the record for career receiving yards with 2608 yards, despite only playing 3 seasons with the Mountaineers.
