The Shotgun/Throwdown: First Day of Classes (8/22/11) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Tinkoff Beer, in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.

Technical difficulties have caused the delay, so by the time you get to read this, classes for the day should be coming to a close. We have scrimmage notes, player profiles and the usual today on the football side. And on the basketball side, Huggs and the men have ended their tour of Italy in victorious fashion. Sorry you had to wait. Just pretend it's a night game and you got a late start to tailgating.
