The Shotgun/Throwdown: Friday Before Father's Day (6/17/11) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Papa's Pale Ale, in honor of the annual celebration for Dads.

Nothing major to report today (for a change, and somewhat thankfully). But, I do have bits and pieces from all over the basketball and football spectrum. WVU is continuing to garner national attention as a rising program despite (and somewhat due to, if you catch my meaning) the recent drama. There's also a few recruiting bits to peruse. Enjoy your weekend and to all the Dads out there, especially mine, Happy Father's Day!!!
