Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Caracu, a Brazilian beer in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.
News is really tailing off now, so it looks as though this will be the last full week of the S/T until fall camp for football gets closer. It took a few days, but Jorge Wright has been suspended from the football team following his run-in with the law last week. You gotta wonder what these guys are thinking sometimes. There's also some notes on a couple of WVU NFL draftees and hopeful NBA draftee Kevin Jones to go along with a few lingering spring football articles. And, finally, WVU grabbed a walk-on basketball commitment from one of the locals who was compared favorably to someone who made quite the name for himself nationally this past season.
