The Shotgun/Throwdown: Wednesday (5/11/11) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and general distractions. We're being brought to you today by Bywater Brewing Co.'s Bombur's Beard Lager, in memory of Chris Neild's beard.

We have lot's to catch up on today. Of course the big news in the last few days were the three big basketball announcements, which somewhat surprisingly, were all very positive for Coach Huggins and WVU. There are Mountaineers preparing for life after their WVU careers and a couple features on former Mountaineer football players and their lives after Morgantown. And finally, the football team continues to gain momentum on the expectations front, thanks in no small part to Coach Holgorsen and his offense.
