The Shotgun/Throwdown: Thursday (4/14/11) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Borg, in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.

The day seven practice reports have shifted their focus to the defense. With the new offense in place, the defense is not getting enough reps versus the run to satisfy the defensive coaches (Hertzel brought this issue up last week, I do believe). There are also plenty of interviews with the coaches to peruse and some notes on a couple former Mountaineer players.
