The Shotgun/Throwdown: Friday (4/1/11) Edition

If you buy something from an SB Nation link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics statement.

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Coca-Cola, because we here at the Musket are turning over a new leaf and giving up alcohol.

Spring practice rolls on and the expectations on the new offense are no less than lofty. My excitement is through the roof, but am trying to at least temper those expectations a bit. Don't get me wrong, I believe in the new coaches and system. I just think it would do us all some good to simply be prepared for some growing pains, that's all. Enjoy your weekend everyone!!
