The Shotgun/Throwdown: BET Second Round (3/9/11) Edition

New, comment

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Heartland Brewery's Empire Premium Beer.

Tonight officially marks the beginning of the post-season journey for WVU when they will face Marquette, a team they lost on the road to. The Big East Tournament is well underway and yesterday had an overtime nail-biter, 2 yawners and a stunner. What will today's sessions give us? More coverage of the tournament and a few features on the football staff are on tap for today's edition.

If you have any tips, suggestions or requests for content that you think is worth sharing, you can send them to me by email or Twitter and don't forget to "LIKE" the Smoking Musket MAIN PAGE on Facebook (follow this link, then hit "LIKE" at the top of the page). Many thanks to those who already "LIKE" us. We now stand at 676 (we lost 2 again, WTH). 700 is still looming close. Please, spread the word!! It's all after the jump...
