The Shotgun/Throwdown: Tuesday (3/8/11) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Łomża (pronounced "womzha"), in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.

The BET gets underway today with a slate of 4 games starting at noon. WVU, you probably know, gets the winner of the Marquette/Providence game that tips off sometime tonight after 9 pm. There's plenty of BET coverage and previews inside today and just about everyone is talking about JFlow's snub in the DPOY award.

If you have any tips, suggestions or requests for content that you think is worth sharing, you can send them to me by email or Twitter and don't forget to "LIKE" the Smoking Musket MAIN PAGE on Facebook (follow this link, then hit "LIKE" at the top of the page). Many thanks to those who already "LIKE" us. We now stand at 678. 700 is looming ever closer. Please, spread the word!! Make like Van Halen in 1984 and Jump...
