The Shotgun/Throwdown: Monday (3/28/11) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Patagonia Amber Lager, in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.

Well, the Final Four is set and the Big East has a team representing...which other major hoops conference was it that was touting 3 Sweet Sixteen teams as proof it was better than the BE, but has none in the Final Four? Oh yeah, that's right. What, we're not keeping score after each round like they were? Oh well...I digress. This is a big week for the future of WVU football, as the Dana Holgorsen offense finally begins installation on the field with the start of spring drills this Wednesday. There's still some lingering basketball news inside as well.

If you have any tips, suggestions or requests for content that you think is worth sharing, you can send them to me by email or Twitter and don't forget to "LIKE" the Smoking Musket MAIN PAGE on Facebook (follow this link, then hit "LIKE" at the top of the page) and now you can also use the widget on the Smoking Musket front page (in the right margin column, between the Twitter feed and the Fan Shots). Many thanks to those who already "LIKE" us. We now stand at 698, only 2 more to 700! I know, the widget on the front page says 699, but the FB page says 698. Please, spread the word!! See ya after the jump.
