National Signing Day: DE Kyle Rose Of Centerville, OH Officially Commits To West Virginia Mountaineers

One of the earliest commitments of this Mountaineer class has made it official.

Kyle Rose, a 6'4" 240 lb. defensive end from Centerville (OH) high school has faxed his letter of intent to play for West Virginia.  Rose, who compiled 11 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks as a senior, chose the Mountaineers over Cincinnati, Kansas, and Indiana.

Rose is a big get in a position of need.  Like Ben Bradley, he will provide immediate depth to a defensive line that will see a lot of turnover in 2011 and beyond.  Rose has decent bulk, but should be speedy enough to get off the edge in the 3-3-5 of Jeff Casteel.

Welcome home Kyle Rose, and be sure to eat QBs during your time here!
