The Shotgun/Throwdown: New Year's Eve (12/31/11) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Kern Brewing Holiday Ale.

Good lord, was that ever U-G-L-Y, you ain't got no alibi, YOU UGLY last night. Huggs was/is supremely agitated over that performance, just as you would expect. We have a full range of coverage of the debacle. On the bright side, there are Orange Bowl reports and features galore. But, it's not all sunshine and rainbows, with Garrison's injury, WVU is down to Alston and Buie after the dismissals of Trey Johnson and Vernard Roberts.

Thanks for a great year everyone and best wishes for an even better one to all of you in 2012!! Be safe and...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
