The Shotgun/Throwdown: Akron Hangover (11/29/11) Editon

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Angel City Ale, in honor of today's Miss Throwdowns.

Huggs got his first technical of the year and the Mountaineers went on a roll after to down the Akron Zips, behind a breakout night for freshman Jabarie Hinds. Meanwhile, KJ was his usual self, chipping in a double-double. We have plenty of coverage.

Back on the the oblong ball side of things, Coach Holgorsen is doing his best to keep everyone's focus squarely on USF, and with what's at stake, he shouldn't have too much trouble with that. Several WVU players were honored by the Big East for their play this past weekend and WVU picked up another RB commitment for the 2012 class.

All of this and more...
