The Shotgun/Throwdown: Morehead Hangover (11/23/11) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Panther Premium Beer, in preparation of this week's Backyard Brawl opponent.

Is it just me or does Morehead hangover sounds like such a wonderful, pleasant experience? I digress...

Today, we have as much coverage of the Mountaineer victory in Charleston last night as I could find, (without being completely redundant). Back on the football side of things, the Brawl is, of course, at center stage and rightfully so. More attention is being paid to Stedman, Tavon and Geno being on the cusp of several records as well. All of this and more...

Safe travels to any and all out and about the next few days!!

Programming note: Full schedule of posts today and there WILL be a Shotgun/Throwdown tomorrow and the weekly Pick 'Em Gauntlet post

WVU's Dana Holgorsen may not understand the importance of Friday night's 104th meeting between his Mountaineers and arch-rival Pittsburgh holds, but you can bet he will if his team suffers its fourth loss of the season and loses any hope of capturing the Big East championship and an automatic berth in the BCS.
