Nothing new at the top. Both Bama and LSU did their opponents in with deathly precision. The big news below them was Oklahoma. I've underestimated or devalued them for long enough, because that was a butt kicking of the highest order they laid on Texas.
It's an awkward feeling to move West Virginia up five spots for the UConn win. It's a nice luxury to be able to throw up 30 points in the blink of an eye. By all means, keep winning any way you can. But it would be nice to see four quarters of that.
I can't wait to see Michigan and Michigan St. play. Just to get an idea of if Michigan is really any good. Because their schedule doesn't look too tough after that, outside of Nebraska.Speaking of Nebraska, it would have been easy for them to fold at the Ohio State. Especially after falling behind 27-6 and how they lost last week to Wisconsin.
South Carolina put in a different quarterback and throttled Kentucky. I'm still dropping them down because of some well reasoned comments in last week's poll, and because Kentucky isn't enough. How bout Houston?
