The Shotgun/Throwdown: Tuesday (1/18/11) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Mahou beer, in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.

No real breaking news today; just your regular day-to-day coverage. WVU is starting to garner some national attention for the last few games efforts (not that it was really deserved before) and they've entered the AP poll and sit just outside the Coaches poll. Capital Classic coverage is beginning and there's some more information today on new football commit Dustin Garrison.

We still stand at 607 (first day with no progress in quite some time....boooo). Let's see how fast we can get to 700. Please, spread the word!! Jump time...
