Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Flying Aces Ale, in honor of today's rather unique date. Maybe it's just me, but isn't it ironic that a date with all ones falls on a Tuesday?
Welcome to crazy aces day. The #6 WVU women travel to Marquette tonight in search of their 17th straight victory (they currently hold the nation's longest active winning streak, btw). Other than that, the news is kinda all over the place today. Also, Pitt did finally settle on a coach, and in my opinion, he may be the best one they even considered. On a much smaller scale than RR heading to Pitt, this could still make things very interesting with some other familiar faces up there.
