The Shotgun/Throwdown: Wednesday (9/8/10) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Hickory Stick Stout, in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.

I'm so confused right now (not really). One writer says this game is "nothing personal" but, then another turns around and says it's "more than just a game." I do know this: I just want to beat these terds to a pulp on the field and then forget about them...basically forever. If you have any tips, suggestions or requests, you can send them to me by email or Twitter. Mama always told me not to look into the eyes of the jump. But, Mama, after the jump is where the fun is...

Miss Throwdown:

Today's Miss Throwdown is a former Hooters girl from Hickory, NC. I couldn't make this name up if I tried. Here's Jessica Lipps.
