The Shotgun/Throwdown: Monday (9/27/10) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Falcon beer, in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.

The weather here today (rainy/drizzly) completely sums up my mood. I've still got so many emotions going through me over Saturday's game that I'm kinda numb to them all. I'm angry, upset, disappointed and at the same time, (but admittedly to a much lesser extent) somewhat strangely encouraged. I really don't know what else to say. As far as fans go, I'm not sure this was a good time for an off week. The team can certainly use it though. There's a few more looks back into Saturday inside. Also, on a brighter note, Basketball season tickets go on sale today. So, we have that going for us...which is nice. If you have any tips, suggestions or requests for content that you think is worth sharing, you can send them to me by email or Twitter. See you after the jump...
